With respect to wine, can I order a case containing six different wines? Yes. At First Gourmet we believe customer service includes the flexibility to adapt ourselves to your needs and so we offer you the possibility of asking for variations on the catalogue. I would like to send the products which I have ordered as a gift to a friend. Is this possible? Yes. We offer you the possibility of sending them to a different address from that registered with your credit card. If you would like to do this, send us an e-mail with the text to be put on the accompanying card and we will send it together with the chosen product.
Ordering Information
How do I place an order with First Gourmet? The store consists of four product departments, the names of which indicate the products:
In order to help you find your way around the store and know exactly where you are at any one moment, each department has a colour and identifying logo. Whichever department you are in, you can navigate around the rest of the store. Placing an order is simple and easy, like a self-service store where you have a shopping basket in which you place the selected products and then pay for them when you reach the checkout area: 1.Visit the different departments and if you see a product which interests you, select the quantity and put it in the shopping basket by pressing the add to basket button which you will always find to the right of each product. 2.The shopping basket will appear on the screen, specifying the quantity and price of products you have selected. Wherever you are in the store, you can find out what products are in your shopping basket by clicking the shopping basket button. You can take selected products out of your shopping basket at any time by clicking on the remove button which is next to the product you wish to remove. 3.If you want to continue shopping, please press the " continue shopping " button that will take you to the previous screen. If you want to know the total cost (shipping cost included), specify the destination, and click the calculate total button: our system automatically calculates and displays the total cost with shipping charges NOTE: If the destination country is an European Union country, you are given the option to select the standard service (please go to the shipping information to see our shipping policies) 4.If you are happy with the contents of the shopping basket, please fill in the order form with the information we require. (Include the delivery address only if this is different from the billing address.) When you have completed the form, click on the pay through secure server button which will send the order to First Gourmet and place the payment order with the bank. Adress restrictions: orders to P.O. Boxes or A.P.O. are not accepted. 5.- Please fill the in the credit card information the bank requires. This is a secure server and the information is encrypted before it is transmitted over the Internet, so it cannot be read as the information travels over the Internet.. 6.- Confirmation of payment from the bank is received immediately by both you the client and First Gourmet. Once received, we will contact you within a maximum of 24 hours (working days) to confirm your order and inform you when the order will be delivered to the address you have specified, as well as the parcels service and invoice number so that you may, if you wish, follow up and check on the delivery.
ORDERING BY FAX OR E-MAIL If you don�t want to place your order on-line, you can order by fax or e-mail. Sending your order by others than
our shopping on-line system gives to you the choice of payment: credit card. Western Union
and bank transfer. NOTE: All our prices are in spanish pesetas. We list prices in USD because is a well-known currency. Prices are subject to change without notice.
Shipping Information
At First Gourmet we want to offer you the best possible service so we work with the internationally recognised urgent parcels services UPS and DHL. Once your order has been
placed, we will get in contact with you to confirm that it has been sent, giving details
of the parcels service, the consignment note number, a.t.a. etc.. If you wish, you can
follow up on the delivery yourself through the parcel services web page, the address
of which we will also send you. Simply by typing in the number corresponding to your
order, you will be permanently informed of its location. All deliveries are correctly packaged; In the case of bottles, they are packed in so-called bottle packs due to their fragility. IMPORTANT: If the package does not arrive in a good condition, let us know the same day you have received it or as soon as possible. We offer two shipping options: Express Service: to anywhere in the world. You only have to select the country and press the calculate total button. Your package will be send with DHL. Select the destionation country to know the estimated delivery time:.
NOTE: Lenght of delivery is base in working days (weekends and holidays are not included). Standard Service: Only for European Union Countries. Select the country and click this shipping option. Then press the calculate total button. Your package will be send with UPS. It is interesting for "heavy" weights (wines,olive oil..) because the shipping price depends on the weight of your order. Your package will be delivered later than with express service (it takes 4 or 5 days since you placed your order) but the shipping charges are more economics for almost all products (not for cigars).
